Rene Xoese Kwasi (x.k) Novor is my name.
Digitally, I am present as @raynayX (a phonetic spelling of my first name and the initial of my EƲE name).
Here is a little about me.
As an Embedded Systems Software Developer and Instructor at the Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT, I combine over six years of hands-on experience with a passion for technology and education. My expertise spans from developing embedded software for projects such as GPS-based Asset Trackers and Forest Fire Detection Edge Nodes using LoRa.
I am proficient in multiple programming languages, including C, C++,Python and JavaScript, and have experience with microcontrollers like RP2040 on Pi Pico, STM32 and Arduino. I am also dedicated to mentoring and teaching, having instructed students in Python programming, database concepts, and software engineering.
My commitment to the open-source community is evident through presentations on debugging techniques in embedded systems and free and open-source software for hardware development. I aim to empower individuals and organizations with the tools and knowledge to leverage technology for a brighter future.
When I am not trying to teach computers to do stuff, I like to play on words. You can check out a few of those here.
